Last month, we raised the topic of the transition from paper and pencil to technology and keyboarding. Even though there is that underlying shift, the ability to write clearly and effectively is still vital.
Conveying our thoughts to others is the fundamental reason we learn to write, and writing is increasingly accomplished through technology. Whether they use ipads, laptops, or computers students are expressing themselves through the digital medium. In some ways students may find that difficult, but refining writing skills while using online methods is definitely part of our future.
As educators, it’s important that we find ways to help them grow in this process. And, for our digital learners, lets look for ways to encourage the writing process digitally. We at LearningGamesForKids.com have found a few ways that we enjoy using technology in the writing process and we’d like to share.
