Kids Love Animals

Children love to learn about all kinds of animals. Frogs are particularly fun to learn about because there is such a wide variety of frogs. Most frogs have a short body and webbed fingers and toes. Frogs are also known as expert jumpers. With their powerful legs they can jump very long distances. One type of frog can even jump 50 times its body length!

In elementary school children begin to learn about the types of frogs. In middle school they learn about the habitats of frogs. Once in high school, students will have the opportunity to learn about the anatomy of frogs. This science based subject is intriguing to students and often they will learn science vocabulary at every stage to help understand frogs. Science curriculum often incorporates games and puzzles to help children have fun while learning.
